==Usage==
This template converts a decimal expression into scientific notation.
:e.g. {{<code>scinote|12345</code>}} gives "{{scinote|12345}}"
To round to a given number of significant figures, specify this number as the second unnamed parameter.
:e.g. {{<code>scinote|12345|3</code>}} gives "{{scinote|12345|3}}"
For engineering notation set <code>fn=eng</code>.
:e.g. {{<code>scinote|12345|fn=eng</code>}} gives "{{scinote|12345|fn=eng}}"
Trailing zeros are preserved.
:e.g. {{<code>scinote|0.001234500</code>}} gives "{{scinote|0.001234500}}"
