[edit] [ ] Template documentation
This template must be (subst:) substituted. |
{{subst:today}}
permanently inserts today's date into an article.
To insert a 'live' (continuously updated) date, use {{date}} instead.
Usage
{{subst:today}}
causes today's date to be written into a page. The date will not change.
The template must be called with subst:.
In subsequent edits to the page, the date will appear as {{date|2024-11-22}}, and — subject to the date reformatting rules available to {{date}} — in direct views as 22 November 2024.
