Details | The door to the fireroom has at least a 1 in (2.5 cm) gap at the bottom. That room remains very cold and lets cold air back into the rest of the house. There is not threshold below the door so one could be added along with some weather stripping to seal that room off a little better. |

Details | There are huge gapes around the door to the yard, so much so that light can be seen from the outside. This is horrible for utilities. Minimum, the door needs good weather stripping put around the sides and a good threshold put in place. It is possible that the house may have settled too much and the whole door frame needs to be resquared. This would require someone with a little more knowledge about such things to say further details on it. |
