Picking a weekend to visit some of the other hackerspaces
Fundraising Update
- Recycling
  - We are able to recycle
    - Coke Cans
    - Scrap Aluminum (larger scrap)
    - Scrap Iron
    - Brass
    - Copper/Copper Wire
    - Cardboard
    - Office Paper
  - Everyone who can, start collecting anything that fits the description of what we can recycle
  - They are open from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  - Get the collected materials to Daniel and he will run them when we have a full load
  - Daniel may need an extra person to go with him on some occasions, preferably before work at 7:30 AM
- Barbecue
  - When? Where? How? What? Who?
  - Lets start the process to do one
Social/Public Events
- LAN Party discussion
  - When? Where? How? What? Who?
  - Lets start the process to do one or make it a regular occurrence
- Movie Night
  - Anyone game? If so, when?
  - Can be here or in theater
Publicity
- Update on Flyer "Raid"
- When is the next flyer raid?
Discussions (try for around 5 minutes)
- Daniel Hess and James Hill talk on concept of Core/Node structured computer program for the group
- Other craft projects that people brought in
- Anyone else who wants to discuss/show/present/or anything else

- We are going to Nashville on the June 5, 2010
- We are going to Huntsville on the June 26, 2010
Recycling
- Daniel has found a place that will let us recycle stuff, he'll be heading up the effort to use it to bring in a little more money for the group
Show'n'Tell (Craft Edition)
- T.K. brought in a phone circuit that he designed a while back
- Joe brought in a handmade wire orc from cat5 cable
- John brought in his own chain mail that he put together, including making his own links
- Mary (while not here) brought in a lamp that she made with the skyline of Memphis on it
Talks
- Dan and Jim explain a concept for a program they plan to write
On to the soldering
- Almost everyone was successful in getting their circuit to work
