Item to design
Sonny has suggested a really bare bones arduino that is single sided as the circuit to solder. It would be easy enough to mill several on his pcb milling rig. It would also be relatively cheap and the people could walk away with something that would be a "gateway drug" into further tinkering because of the versatility of the arduino. - The design needs some sort of unique aspect to it that makes it Midsouth Makers specific. Dan9186(T • E • C) 01:42, 31 December 2010 (CST)
- Sonny has suggested that we use his laser cutter to make an acrylic case for the item with the makers logo etched into the case and have an LED light up the case. Dan9186(T • E • C) 01:42, 31 December 2010 (CST)
- Instead of using the pin 13 to blink an LED we could have a power or activity LED that we use to light up the acrylic case with our logo in it. So either when the device is running it is lighting up our logo or every time it does some sort of activity it makes our logo blink. Dan9186(T • E • C) 01:42, 31 December 2010 (CST)

Class Times
Instead of holding one class one time, we should likely offer two times for the class over two different days. So say we offer a Saturday class and a Sunday class to offer people variation in times of when they could show and help with their schedule to actually attend it.
