You can also define each of the following parameters by hand:
- article: The main article for the topic.
- category: The main category for the topic.
- portal: The portal for the topic.
- project: The WikiProject for the topic. This should be the "X" in "Wikipedia:WikiProject X".
- stubtype: The stub type for the topic; this should be the "X" in "Category:X stubs".
- delsort: The deletion-sorting subpage for the topic; this should be the "X" in "Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/X".
- pna: The cleanup page for the topic; this should be the "X" in "Wikipedia:Pages needing attention/X".
- board: The noticeboard for the topic. This should be the "XYZ" in Wikipedia:XYZ.
- collab: The collaboration for the topic. This should be the ABC in Wikipedia:ABC.
Display parameters:
- simple: If you want a simple one-line display without table formatting, set "simple=yes" (or any non-whitespace value).
- talk: If you want the template to appear in standard Talk page format, set "talk=yes" (or any non-whitespace value).
- image: An image to appear in-line (20px in the title bar in standard format, or 50px at the far left in Talk format). This should be the "XYZ" in Image:XYZ.
If these variables are not specified, the template will assume that they are all the same as the topic name. If no such page exists, then the name will be skipped. Unless an incorrect variable has been specified, this should never contain a redlink.
