Usage
- {{Histinfo}} will suffice.
- {{Histinfo|date=November 2024}} using current month and year. N.B. Adding a date does not affect how the article is categorized. (There are no date-specific categories for articles lacking historical information.)
- {{Histinfo|Specifics|date=November 2024}} where Specifics is a brief sentence describing missing historical information. For example:
{{Histinfo|When and where was this invented? Who contributed to its development? How did it change over time?|date=November 2024}}
For articles with multiple issues, the {{multiple issues}} template takes a histinfo parameter.
